Our History

In 1986, Donald T. Rave Sr. retired from the Presidency of MONY Life of America to form a law practice in Locust Valley specializing in estate planning and administration for high net worth individuals.  In 1995 he was joined by his son, Donald T. Rave, Jr., who had been a senior partner in the New York Maritime Law Firm of Bigham Englar Jones & Houston, specializing in insurance and reinsurance issues.  Today the firm continues to provide estate planning and administration services and accepts select insurance, reinsurance, marine and transportation related matters litigated in Federal and State Courts throughout the country.
